Does ISLAND have adult content? Will anything be censored from the physical release of the game?

ISLAND was developed as an all-ages game, and contains no explicit sexual content. The physical release of the game will contain all content from the original release, in English.

Does ISLAND have dual language support?

Unfortunately, as ISLAND is an older title and does not run on the same engine as our other recent titles, there is no dual language support for the game. Physical copies will contain English text with Japanese voices only.

How will shipping be handled for the campaign? Why does it cost the amount that it does?

The default shipping method for the campaign is international SAL shipping from Japan. This is the most affordable method that will still get your rewards to you in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, we have decided to include tracking & insurance by default for tiers above $100. This means that if you pledge at the $100 tier or above, you do NOT need to purchase the “Upgrade To Registered SAL” add-on to receive tracking/insurance! If you wish to upgrade to EMS, please contact us directly and we can help you out with that.

The shipping costs are based on the actual SAL shipping charge plus the cost of packaging and labor for shipping. The shipping charges are not inflated in any way.

How can I purchase add-ons?

Add-ons will be purchasable in BackerKit after the campaign! You can make a subsequent pledge for the cost of the add-on and you will be able to use that money in BackerKit for add-on purchases, or you can pay for the add-on directly on BackerKit after the campaign.

Can I pay with PayPal?

Unfortunately, Kickstarter does not support PayPal as a payment method. However, if you make a pledge at any tier, you can upgrade to a higher tier on BackerKit after the campaign, and use PayPal on BackerKit to cover the difference. Please do keep in mind that if limited rewards sell out during or after the campaign, you will not be able to upgrade to those tiers in BackerKit.

What are the specs of the Blu-ray box set?

The limited run Blu-ray box set offered in this campaign will include Japanese audio and English subtitles only. The discs will be region-free (Region ALL); details of special features, are currently being finalized.

You have other unfulfilled campaigns, how can we trust that you'll deliver on these items, according to the schedule on the campaign page?

We have recently taken substantial steps in handling our current backlog of crowdfunding project fulfillment. We have updated each of these campaigns with final shipping schedules, and have a concrete plan laid out to finalize production all of our current campaigns by this September, and shipping by November. Once these are complete, production and shipping will be able to easily begin with no delay for the rewards for this campaign. We are committed to deliver all the latest information about production and shipping status via project updates, and hope to show with this project that we are more than capable of fulfilling reward promises on schedule.

How do I choose what name will be in the special section of the artbook?

You’ll be able to enter this on BackerKit when we send out surveys! If you don’t enter a name before the survey deadline, your display name from Kickstarter will be used.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
